Read More>> Toshiba Carrier Corp on Thursday announced a new joint venture with United Technologies Corp to localize planning, development, manufacturing and sales of commercial air-conditioning products. The new joint venture will be titled Toshiba Carrier Air-Conditioning India.
A press release said the joint venture was established on August 14 and will be headquartered in the premises of Toshiba India.
Toshiba Carrier Corp is an already existing joint venture in Japan between Toshiba Corporation and Carrier, which is part United Technologies Corporation.
The new joint venture was created to support strong demand for variable refrigerant flow (VRF) solutions. VRF is a form of commercial air-conditioning for use in office building and condominiums.
