Read More>> BENGALURU: Singapore-headquartered warehousing automation company GreyOrange, backed by Tiger Global, has started operations in the United States, where it also plans to set up a manufacturing facility.

The company will work with clients in e-commerce, apparel and telecom sectors, chief executive Samay Kohli told ET. At its first client site in the US, the company will deploy 740 robots, he said. GreyOrange has opened its US headquarters in Atlanta and has hired Chris Barber from Honeywell Intelligrated to lead as regional CEO, North America. Barber had served as vice president, southern operations at Honeywell Intelligrated.
