MUMBAI: Larsen & Toubro's construction division has bagged an order worth Rs 2,500 crore-Rs 5,000 crores from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation for the design and construction of the Phase – 2 works, the engineering major said in a statement on Wednesday. The project is scheduled to be completed in 42 months. The scope for 'package 2' includes under-ground structures (tunnels & stations) of approximately 2.76 km from Vellara Junction station to Shivajinagar station and three underground metro stations at Vellara Junction, M. G. Road and Shivajinagar on the Reach-6 line.
